A nice crowd gathered for
Californias’ Annual meeting, sale and banquet. A very cool damp
foggy December day was in store. Cattle sold at a rapid pace to
a large junior buying crowd. A very nice offering of well
presented entries. Indeed a fun event for juniors and seniors
alike.

A windy snow storm arrived the
night before this year’s event. A large crowd gathered on a cold
sale day to latch up the 2008 offering from TLC Angus, Bliss,
ID.; 101 Ranch, King Hill, ID.; Sugar Top Angus, Jerome, ID and
WWW Angus, Filer, ID. Cattle sold at a solid price to four
states. Sixty-four of the bulls sold were fall 2007 models. The
commercial bred heifers from Danny Thomason, Jerome, ID. topped
at $935 on 10 head to Jim Barton, Carey, ID. Everything was in
the usual tip top order. Indeed a job well done by all involved.
