A large crowd on a beautiful fall day gathered to witness another super day for Vintage Angus. The cattle were prepared to a “T” and the hospitality was at its usual high level Vintage quality. Breeders from Coast to Coast and Border to Border gathered to see a strong event from the very first to the very last. Jim & Sue Coleman, Doug Worthington, Brad Worthington, Jason Judge and all of the Vintage staff must be commended on another grand, grand event. Our hats are off to this breed leading program.

A super crowd gathered to witness the 57th Nelson Angus Ranch 3 in 1 Sale and helped celebrate 51 years of being in the Angus business. Cattle sold to six states with ten firms taking five or more head. The “Final Answer” sire group was actively received as indicated by the above sale report. Low birth EPD bulls saw strong interest. The hospitality was indeed top notch. Our hats are off to Steve & Janna Herbst and Family, along with Clyde & Ruby Nelson and Family for another top notch event.

A snow stormy day greeted folks to this 2009 event at the Golden Spike Event Center. Weather kept ranchers away making it a buyer’s opportunity on the bulls. Melony Sorenson, Spanish Fork, UT captured the RMAA Junior Futurity award and received $875.00 for the win. Cattle sold to four states.

A large crowd from a three state area gathered at the Western Park, Vernal, UT for the third RV Bar event. Cattle sold at a very rapid pace to 31 buyers from Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. The bred heifers topped at $ 1,550. Jude Hacking, Vernal UT captured the volume bull buyer jacket, David Barton, Vernal, UT captured the volume female buyer jacket and Lorn Ruppe, Jensen, UT took home the top selling bull jacket. Strong demand for the bred heifers and bulls. The Vincents were gracious hosts and all enjoyed the super lunch provided sale day. Every animal in the sale sold. A super day for this up and coming force in the Beehive state. Congratulations on a job well done.

A large crowd gathered at the Northwest Livestock Commission Company on a beautiful, no wind, sunny day for this 1st Northwest Breeders All Breed Fall Female Sale. Cattle sold to 37 buyers from a four state area. The semen topped at $275 per unit on four straws of DHD Traveler 6807 selling to BoBo Cattle Company, Othello, WA. The three embryos produced by OCC Blackbird 793G and sired by OCC Eureka 865E sold at $550 per embryo to JR Ranch, Othello, WA. Quality ran deep in most of the classes of cattle being offered. Although no records were set, a very solid sale for quality, presentation, & buyer’s support. An event that will draw much more attention as years go by.
