A light crowd gathered on an extremely hot day to get a big bang for the buck at the 2008 Progressive Breeders Sale. Active demand for the low birth EPD bulls and the top quality individuals. Cattle sold to 3 states. The hospitality put forth by Circle AK Ranch, Galt; L & N Angus, Lodi; Chase Classic Angus and Charolais, Torrance; Cal Poly, Pomona and Matheson Ranch, Lockeford was at its usual all time best. Those who wanted value for the dollar, this would have been your day.

Volume buyer honors went to Phillip Martin, Madera, CA taking 26 bulls and Romero and Ferrara, San Jose, CA taking 21 bulls. A tribute to a top program.

The Fresno State ice cream was truly a hit, especially among the sale crew. Indeed a job well done by all.

A light crowd gathered at the Central Oregon Livestock Market to latch on to a solid set of top genetics. Many, many good buys were made. Beautiful fall day ending in a light rain in the late afternoon.
