grand program. Cattle sold at a rapid fire pace. Excellent
demand for the open heifers. The 15 Hereford bulls averaged
$1,540 and the 12 Hereford females averaged $1,483. Our hats are

A beautiful day in
Madras as eighty-two buyers registered from four states. The
crowd was large, buyers were very conservative. Volume buyer was
Stafford Ranches, Prineville, OR. The semen topped at $325 per
unit on CA Future Direction 5321 selling to Lawrence Mendoza,
Valley Springs, CA. Many good buys were made throughout the day.
The Red Angus averaged $1,758 while the Limousin averaged $1,109
and the Sim-Angus averaged $1,156. Cattle sold to 57 buyers from
four states.
