55th Western National Angus Futurity
 
 
The 55th Western National Angus Futurity drew exhibitors with cattle from eighteen states. The number of head lead out in 2006 were the exact number that led out in 2007. The weather was a beautiful as anyone can remember for this Reno event. The event was dedicated to long time Angus friends and supporters, Jim and Sue Coleman, Vintage Angus, Modesto, CA. The champions were spread throughout the barn with many of the smaller herds competing on a strong equal level as the larger opperations. The show drew folks from across the land along with many of the Western Breeders in attendance. Tony Martin, J/V Angus, Winters, CA was the winner of the big draw and Brian Stoller, Bear Mtn Angus, Melba, ID was the 2007 herdsman award winner. The junior show was strong from end to end and is to lead out the exact same numbers that lead out in 2006. Indeed a fun filled Angus weekend in the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno, NV, where in 2007.
