Ross Bennett, age 65,
of Bennett Angus, Roseburg, OR died in early January 2007 in a
farm tractor accident on his Roseburg ranch. Investigation
revealed that his clothing got caught in the tractor’s power take
off. Bennett
was an active Angus breeder since 1981. Bennett was born in
Portland and served in the Army from 1959 to 1961. He served on
numerous agricultural advisors boards and was well known in the
community for helping those with agricultural and ranching
questions. Ross is survived by his wife Carolyn, his mother, three
sons and one daughter, two stepdaughters and nine grandchildren.
